Kuchipudi is a classical Dance form, from the southern state of Andra Pradesh. It is know for its vibrant movements, dramatic expression and lilting music. Vrata Chigateri Sankar is a senior disciple of Guru. Vyjayanthi Kashi . She has performed at prestigious venues across India, national and local television, along with her guru. As a solo performer she has several Dance festivals to her credit and is a graded artiste of Doordarshan kendra, Bangalore for Kuchipudi. Vrata is currently based in Sheffield and teaches dance in the Sheffield and Rotherham areas.
